A drinks event to celebrate Santa Fe's 400th anniversary was held July 21st attended by many New Mexico luminaries, including NM Governor Bill Richardson. Although the speeches were entertaining and the food and drinks copious, the star of the evening turned out to be the multi-color Mexican Porphyry in a flag stone patio from which ceremonies were conducted.

     The patio is the first in the USA to be installed using Global Porfidi's unique and spectacular Porphyry, the world's greatest paving stone. As exclusive national suppiers via sister company Western Porphyry, Groundfloor continues to offer dramatically different stone paving and tile. 

     The rich color range within the Porphyry flagstone, predominently greens,  reds and golds worked perfectly to match the existing stucco colors of the surrounding  buildings within the Victorian compound. The was installed (just in time for the event) by leading Porphyry experts Avant Gardens, who cut the stone to ensure minimal grout lines.

     Western Porphyry offers Mexican Porphyry in four distinct colors - Sangre Red, Verde Musgo Green,  Coyote Multicolor and Mojon Red. These are available in sizes starting at 4"x4" and goiing up to 24"x 36" pavers and in random flagstone. As well as Mexican porphyry, Western Porphyry offers the world's widest range of porphyry with choices also including Brazilian Porphyry, Chinese Porphyry and Kern Italian porphyry.
